Day 2146. This morning Randy got up at 5:30 am and left with the Dad of the house where we are staying to go to a men's Bible group. Emmy was up first at 7 am or so and then Sammy woke up as well. Emmy got dressed and went upstairs to play with the kids. I took Sammy's night braces off and also took him upstairs to play. Tammy stayed in bed with me, and we continued sleeping.

Just after 8 am she also woke up after we could hear Randy's voice who was back. She also got up and went upstairs to play, while I stayed in bed and enjoyed getting to sleep in. Especially after my 10 am student canceled so that I could sleep even longer. I got up at 10:30 am and got ready to teach at 11 am.

Just before noon I was done and warmed up some leftovers to eat lunch after having skipped breakfast. Randy and the kids then came as well. Randy and Sammy ate, but Tammy and Emmy didn't really want to eat. Emmy ate a little.

At 1:30 pm we left the house and drove half an hour to Raymore to visit special people. I used to stay with the couple that we visited. We had a wonderful hour of catching up with each other. The kids had their tablets to keep them busy while we were talking. In the end, they started praying for Sammy and for us, and we prayed for them. Then we said our good-byes.

On the way to our next meeting we stopped at Walmart to get a few items, including a machine to cut the boys' hair as it's getting too long. The kids and I stayed in the car while Randy went into the store. At 4:15 pm we arrived at another couple's house. We admired their new house that they had moved to. Randy and the kids briefly went into their garden so Emmy could play ball but they soon came back. Tammy then asked for some paper to draw and got some colored paper and scissors to draw and cut which made her happy. All the while we were talking with our friends.

Then we sat down for dinner and continued having a good time. After dessert, the kids were getting restless as they were tired and we said our good-byes. By 7:20 pm we were back at the house. The Mom had just arrived as well and gave Tammy a box of chalk to draw on the ground with. Tammy drew a flower on the ground right away. Emmy was playing with the soccer ball they had also brought. Then Tammy showed me their climbing tree right there and climbed right up.

It was bedtime, so we went inside and got them ready for bed. We read a story, I prayed for them, and they lay down in their beds. Tammy has been sleeping on top of the bunk while the boys have been sleeping on the bottom. I then turned my computer on to work. Randy also soon fell asleep as he's had an early morning. I'm planning on going to bed earlier tonight as I have to get up early tomorrow morning.
