HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 2172. This was the third day of Sammy having a fever and feeling miserable. He was the first one up this morning, and as the other two were in our bed, Randy joined Sammy in their bed. We then also woke up because of the noise they were making. Tammy and Emmy had slept quite long today, and as I did not have an early student, that worked out well. Then my 10 am student canceled which I was not upset about. That gave me plenty of time to slowly get up and get ready. When I finally started teaching at 11 am, Randy left with the kids to go over to our friends' house. I then had peace and quiet to teach.
I taught until 12:30 pm, then continued working on my computer in quiet. Eventually the kids returned, and we ate what we still had in our fridge. After lunch, we all relaxed on our devices for a while. While it had rained in the morning, the sun came out in the afternoon. I suggested we'd go to the pool for one last time, and Tammy and Emmy eagerly said yes. Sammy did not want to go but came along to sit by the pool with Daddy.
The three of us had lots of fun in the pool. Then our friend also joined us in the water. I finally had an opportunity to talk to her. Suddenly she had caught a little frog and asked the kids to touch it. Tammy had no problem doing so and even held it. Emmy did not want to touch it but eventually did. Even Sammy got to touch it. Then they took the frog into the water and watched it swim. When our friend picked it up again and held it on her hand, it suddenly jumped and landed on Tammy's face. Tammy did not mind at all. Then it got away and disappeared.
Sammy had had enough, and so Randy and Sammy left and lay down in bed. The three of us stayed in the pool and had fun and talked. Then it was time for us to move as well. Our friend said that Tammy could do some painting, so she was ready to get changed and get started.
We went to the trailer and got changed, then Tammy left to go painting up in their treehouse. Emmy got on his tablet. Later he also left to go paint on wood, and they both did a great job. Randy then also left to join them as they were going fishing again. I stayed with Sammy who was sleeping most of the time.
Eventually they came back, and once again we were eating what food we had bought and had left. Sammy had a few bites but he hasn't been hungry because of the fever. He soon went back to bed. Tammy and Emmy ate some food, then they got ready for bed as well. I read them a book, prayed for them, and they joined their brother who I had already prayed for in bed. It was already 8:45 pm, so way beyond their bed time. Still, they were talking for quite a long time before it finally got quiet. Then Randy left to do some more talking with our friends.
Now it's 1 am and time to go to bed soon. Tomorrow will be our longest day of driving yet as we go to Georgia next.
