Day 2092. This morning my alarm went off at 10 am but the kids had been making lots of noise for a long time, of course. We all left the house together just before 10:30 am and walked to the subway. We took two subways then we still had to walk a bit and arrived perfectly on time, at 2 pm, at the Ballschool where the birthday party was taking place. It was the birthday of a boy that goes to kindergarten with Tammy and Emmy. He had invited Emmy but his siblings were allowed to come as well.

As the location was a ballschool, there was a big gym with lots of stuff to play with. Emmy played soccer the whole three hours we were there. Sammy also played ball for most of the time. Both Randy and I played with him. At one point I also played that I was chasing him which he loves playing and threw him around a bit which he also enjoys but which is tiring for me as he's also getting heavier.

Tammy and Smamy both enjoyed the cage the balls are in. Tammy crawled inside and had me close it but it didn't stay closed for long. Then she pretended to sleep in there, and then it was a race cart. I raced her and Sammy in there through the room, then Tammy raced Sammy around.

At some point we were called into the small room to the side where there was a long table for all the kids. It was lunch time. They had ordered chicken strips and ground beef sticks and fries, and some more meat and salad for the adults. The kids were eating, then they were off playing again. Emmy was the first one done to go back to playing soccer. After all the kids were gone, the adults were served. I asked Tammy to play with Sammy, and she did and did a great job.

After they had played a while, and Tammy had found the fabric to play with, it was cake time. Everyone had a piece, and off they went to play again. Once again Emmy was the first one done. After they had played a while, we were again called in. This time for the gifts. Our kids were eager to give their gifts, and Emmy went first. He gave him a soccer bottle, the same one he also has. Then Sammy gave his gift, a soccer lamp, and Tammy gave hers, a remote-controlled spiderman car. The other kids were also giving their gifts. Then everyone went back into the gym. A few minutes later they all got a little gift bag from the birthday boy's Mom.

It was nearly 2 pm, the time it was ending, and Randy was ready to leave as he had a pickup. So we packed up, said our good-byes and left. Tammy was allowed to take some balloons with her that were tied together. We walked back to the subway, got on, and the four of us got off after one stop while Daddy stayed on the subway. The elevator at that stop was still broken so I had to go on the escalator with Sammy but it was not a problem. We then got on another subway line that took us straight home. By 2:40 pm we were back home.

I was very tired but I was alone with the kids. Tammy and Emmy were on their tablets, and Sammy wanted his, but after a few minutes he wanted the projector, then he wanted to play with the door. So no rest for me. After he had done all that, I told him I needed to rest a little and closed my door and finally got to fall asleep briefly. My alarm then woke me at 4:20 pm, just as Randy was coming back home. He had picked up another used kids' bike from someone.

At 4:40 I started teaching; I don't usually teach on Sundays unless it's important and there is no other possible time. Randy took the kids downstairs so it was finally quiet. After I was done teaching, I went downstairs for piano practice. After we were done, Tammy said she wanted to show me the book she had made. She had drawn a story and was reading it to me, and I recorded her. Then we went back upstairs where I started making their dinner which started our evening routine.
