HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 2103. Yesterday Randy and the kids had to get up very early - a little foretaste of what it's going to be like in fall when they start going to school. Randy got up at 6 am to make breakfast, and at 6:45 we had to work on getting Tammy and Emmy out of bed; they were on either side of me. They really didn't want to get up that early, but we got them to, and they went to the table to have breakfast. Just after 7:15 am Randy left with Tammy and Emmy to take them to kindergarten. They got there right at 8 am, which is when they were supposed to get there. They had their big, final kindergarten field trip. The kindergarten had chartered a bus that was taking them to Laxenburg. There is a castle and a big garden with a playground there. They played there and had lunch at the castle. By 2:30 pm they were scheduled to be back, and they were.
Sammy stayed home with me as he had horse therapy at 10:30 am. I tried to continue sleeping, but Sammy needed me from time to time. After Randy got back home, he got Sammy ready and left with him to take him to therapy. I was finally able to fall asleep and not be woken up.
My alarm woke me at 10:30 am as I had a 11:15 am student. I taught until 12:30 am, and Randy and Sammy returned before that. Randy was eating, when I finished, but Sammy wouldn't eat. I gave him food later. He wanted to play with my door, and I let him. I got something to eat and then went back to work on the computer.
Randy left just before 2 pm to go pick up Tammy and Emmy from kindergarten. As they were returning so late, they had to go to their exercise class straight from there. Their class was from 3:50 to 4:45 pm. They then took the 5 pm train and were home by 5:15 pm.
For Sammy it was a long afternoon being home with me. As time went on, he was asking when Daddy was coming home. He did everything he does at home - play with the door, watch Peppa on the projector, listen to the chips on his headset, and go back to watching on the projector. Just before 5 pm I went to the kitchen to make their dinner, so it was ready for them. At 5:30 pm I started teaching.
I was done at 6:20 pm and went downstairs with Tammy and Emmy for piano practice. Back upstairs they went into the bathtub, then I read them some stories. I finished in time to get to my 8:10 pm student, while they went to bed. By 9 pm I was done teaching, did some more work, then went to the kitchen to get myself something to eat. After having eaten, I went back to work.
Today was a holiday in Austria, but for me it was a regular day of teaching all day. The only difference was the children being home and making so much noise as well as coming to me that I kept being woken up. At some point Randy left with them to take them to the playground, but they returned pretty quickly when rain surprised them on the way.
At 10:30 am my alarm went off, as I had a 11 am student. After I was done teaching at noon, I went to the kitchen to cook. It was not yet 1 pm by the time we all sat down to eat together. After having eaten, I cleaned up the kitchen, then sat down at the computer to get ready for my 2 pm student. Randy and the kids later left again, this time to go to the nearby park. They had their styrofoam airplanes with them, and Emmy his soccer ball. I enjoyed the quiet as I was teaching, but it didn't last for long. I taught from 2 until 4 pm, then I went to the kitchen to make their dinner and taught again from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. I was interrupted several times while teaching. After they had come back from the park, they went outside downstairs and tried to learn to ride a bike. Emmy did pretty well. Sammy was giving Randy a hard time, so Randy left him upstairs where I was, then went outside to help them learn to ride their bikes. All I heard while teaching was Sammy crying really hard, as he was left all alone inside. After I was done teaching and had a short break, I picked him up and comforted him and took him downstairs and outside to the others. Then I returned upstairs for my next student.
After I was done teaching at 6:30 pm, I went downstairs with Tammy and Emmy for piano practice. Back upstairs, it was time for the bathtub. Once out, I put Sammy to bed with a prayer, then it was story time for the other two. I finished in time to pray for them before sitting down at the computer for my 8:10 pm student. They brushed their teeth and went to bed.
By 9 pm I was done and went to the kitchen to get myself something to eat. After having eaten, I went back to work.
