Day 2315. On Friday Sammy was the first one to lose on of his top front teeth. All three have lost the bottom two front teeth. And a day later, on Saturday, he lost the other top front tooth, so he has a big gap on top now. But Sammy was sick on Friday, like Tammy had been sick on Tuesday. Thankfully this is a one-day sickness. After Sammy on Friday, Randy was sick on Saturday.

Even though Sammy was sick, we left the house at 1:15 pm to go downtown, and the kids were reading their new books on the subway, even though they haven't learned all the letters yet. It was quite a long walk to the place where we were going, and I was not feeling well at all. I've been taking pain medication for my tooth pain for over a week now.

We reached the location perfectly on time at 2 pm which is the time we had tickets for. It was an immersive Christmas experience, and a surprise as the kids didn't know what we were doing. We took our coats off and waited for the next beginning. We all walked into a room where two elves on a screen welcomed us and explained everything to us, then they were interrupted by evil Krampus and we were tasked to find and conquer him to save Christmas. People then walked up the stairs but we had to go back to the entrance so the lady could show us to the elevator. We went up then had to walk all the way back to where the stairs came up to be at the start. It was a beautiful mirror tunnel with crystal snowflakes everywhere. We walked into the next room where they had screens with different tasks to do, and a cake with Krampus on the other side. The next few rooms had full-body games. First, targeting gifts to pick them up, then pushing gifts that were falling down from the sky to the side, then dancing the way the elf on the screen was.

We had finished that floor and took the elevator to the bottom floor. There was a snowy landscape where you could make snowflakes appear when you touched it, and an interactive elf that wasn't working so well. Then there were two reindeer that you had to train to fly; it was cool. Next we got into a big room which was the kids' favorite activity. The four walls were all screens, showing a winter landscapes with snowmen. Then Krampus came and made the snowmen evil. There were white balls all over the room, snowballs, and you had to hit the snowmen and the Krampus, which our kids did successfull several times, taking out Krampus. He finally was defeated.

We moved on and got to the 4D ride. We were in Santa's sleigh, and then Santa took off with us. The platform we were standing on was moving with the ride. It was pretty cool. After it was over, we walked over to the VR glasses ride. Last time we were there, for the dinosaurs, that ride was not included but it was today. Yeah! As we had to wait, we went back to the snowball fights as the kids enjoyed it so much. Then we took our seats at the VR ride. I had Tammy on one side and Emmy on the other, while Randy and Sammy sat on the other side of the aisle Then the ride started. We were flying again. It was pretty cool but it made me nauseous. The kids loved it, including Sammy.

It was the end of our north pole trip. We had to walk back to the elevator on the other end of the bottom level. We walked there but couldn't get the elevator to work as we had to go up to the first floor which is where people are not supposed to be able to go. So we went back to the guy at the VR ride who came with us and pushed the buttons for us to go up. Back upstairs, the kids went into the room there where they had screens where kids could create gifts that then appeared on the digital shelves on the walls. They couldn't get enough but it was time to go. I was glad that Sammy had had that much fun even though he was sick; I had given him some medication before leaving the house.

We walked back to the subway crossing half of downtown, then took the subway home where we arrived at 4:15 pm. We then walked downstairs for piano practice. After we were done, I went back upstairs to make their sandwiches, later I cut up their fruit. I also turned my computer on, trying to get some much-needed work done, but I didn't get far. After the bathtub, we took time to read Bible stories now that the advent calendars are all done. Then they went to bed, and I went to the kitchen to get something to eat.

On Saturday I had two items on the calendar - going to church in the afternoon and teaching at night. However, it turned out differently because Randy was really sick while Sammy was so much better. Tammy had also been sick for one day only really, so that gave me hope that it was the case of Randy as well. He went grocery shopping in the morning as it was the first day that the stores were open again but the rest of the day he was lying down and was out of commission. That meant there was more for me to do while I was still battling this toothpain and popping pain medication to function.

I had hoped to get office work done but after having done piano practice with them, Tammy asked if she could do her crafts Christmas present and I said yes. And so I sat with her and helped her. She was putting one rhine stone after another on the outside of the mirror, according to the instructions where to put which one. It took quite some time, and at some time she stopped for the day. As for Emmy, he got his school papers out that they have to do during the Christmas break, and I helped him as needed. Sammy was clearly missing Daddy, his playmate, but was doing well playing being a cashier and playing with his siblings when they were done with their activities. Then we went upstairs. They got on their new tablets while I went to the kitchen at 5 pm to make their sandwiches. At 6 pm I started cutting up their fruit. At 7 pm they went into the bathtub, then we read Bible stories. However, I had my first student since Christmas at 8:10 pm, so I had to watch the time. They went to bed while I sat down to teach. After I was done, I got some food, then I did some work.
