Day 2392. Yesterday I went back to bed until 9:30 am. Then I got up to get ready for my 10 am student. I taught until 11 am, then again from 11:30 to 12:30 pm. Then I left to pick up Sammy from school. Back home, I got myself something to eat. I was very tired and wanted to get some rest but I also had some prep to do for my afternoon student.

Just after 3 pm Sammy and I left the house. We took two subways then waited for Randy and the other kids. Randy had picked them up from school and taken them to their tennis class at 2 pm. After a few minutes of waiting they showed up. Emmy ran to me to greet me. Then Tammy, Sammy and I got on the next subway while Randy and Emmy took the escalator to go to the other line that would take them to Emmy's breakdance class. Sammy had his tablet with him and had it on on the subway; it was a video of a vaccuum cleaner. I was surprised when a lady came up to me complaining about the noise. I then decreased the volume. However, she returned and still complained about the noise. I then turned it off and put it up. Another lady then said to me to not let people like that discourage me.

Thankfully we only rode that subway for two stops then we switched lines. We got home earlier than expected which was great. It gave me the time to make their sandwiches and cut up fruit for them, then I sat down to get ready for my students. I then taught from 5 to 7 pm. Randy and Emmy returned around 6 pm.

When I was done at 7 pm, we went downstairs for piano practice. Back upstairs, it was bathtub time, then Tammy still did her reading practice but Emmy did not. Time was really short. I prayed for them, then sat down to teach.

At 9 pm I was done teaching and went to the kitchen to get myself something to eat. Finally break time while eating and before going back to work.

This morning my alarm went off at 9:30 am. At 10 am I left the house with Tammy and Emmy. We rode the subway downtown doing reading practice. At 10:30 am their piano class started. The teacher started with the greeting song, then did a guessing game. They had to guess what everyone was doing in the afternoon. Then she had them play the last two new pieces they've been practicing before finally moving on to a new one. After that, she did a new song with them before it was story time. Another one of the kids did the story today. Then the class was over. We packed up and walked back to the subway and rode it home.

By noon we were back home, and I went straight to the kitchen to make lunch. Then we sat down to eat. At 1 pm Randy left with Sammy to take him to his music class. I was supposed to start teaching at 1 pm but my student moved the lesson to 1:30 pm. I was extremely tired. Once I was done, I prepared for my 4 pm lesson then lay down in bed for a half-hour nap. Randy and Sammy returned before 3 pm, and Randy then took them all to the playground as it was such a nice, warm day. They had fun there.

After I was done teaching at 5 pm, I went to the kitchen to make their sandwiches and cut up their fruit. They returned while I was doing so. They were hungry and all three ate better than usual. Then we went downstairs for piano practice. Back upstairs, they went into the bathtub earlier than usual which meant there was plenty of time for a story afterwards. I prayed for them, then sat down to teach at 8 pm, while both kids lay down in my bed right next to my desk. Once I was done teaching at 9 pm, I took them back to their beds and went to the kitchen to get myself something to eat. I ate and took a break before going back to work.
