HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 2177. This night was less rough than the previous ones. Emmy was up first which also woke up Sammy. Emmy left, and I took Sammy's braces off and let him also leave the room. Soon Tammy was up as well, and eventually Randy got up. As for me, I got a little more sleep.
After I had gotten up and had a bite to eat, we all headed down to the lake. Our friends were going to pull the kids in a raft; I hadn't known they had one. The kids were very excited about it. They put lifevests on, then they got into the raft that had two seats. Emmy was very excited while Tammy got very fearful. She was screaming as we were slowly putting distance between the boat and them. Our friend tried to go too slow so that his engine stopped working several times, then he sped up a bit. Tammy never really enjoyed it while Emmy loved it.
Sammy really wanted to go on the raft as well. And so Tammy and Emmy sat together in one seat, and our friend sat in the other with Sammy. Now her husband also felt more comfortable going faster and went a lot faster - much to all the kids' delight, including Tammy. Suddenly she enjoyed it as well. The boys had the time of their life.
It had started and stopped raining a few times. After we got off the boat, Tammy wanted to go swimming but then it started raining again so we returned to the house. We all got on our devices until it was time to eat lunch. We had a good time of eating and talking, then everybody left to rest. Randy and Sammy took a nap, and while I meant to take one as well, I continued working instead, never taking the time to lie down.
Once it got later and the kids were off their tablets, we did piano practice on our friends' keyboard like we've done every day since getting here. Tammy is not very motivated right now while Emmy can play the piece pretty well already. I then suggested she'd play the game they got in Wichita with our friend, and they did. After a while I joined them as well, and so did Emmy. Sammy got to talk to his friend in California briefly which made his day.
He was getting hungry so I made some package soup that we still had, and all the kids ended up eating it while our friends were still cooking dinner. Once it was done, we all sat down to eat and enjoyed another wonderful home-cooked meal.
Emmy had seen a deer last night and wanted to see one again. So they all left the house to walk the dog and look for deer. They saw some again, but the one on the picture is obviously fake. Back at the house, Tammy was playing with a toy-firepit, Emmy was playing mikado with our one friend, and Sammy ball with his wife. They were all having fun. Then it was bedtime. They showered, put their pj's on, and we sat down in the living room for storytime. For the second night in a row I read the stories in English so that our friends could also understand them. Then I prayed for the kids, and they went to bed. Randy stayed with them while I sat down at the computer to continue working. Now it's 1 am, and I need to head to bed soon.
