HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 2328. On Thursday I didn't get to sleep much after Randy returned from dropping Tammy and Emmy off at their school to pick up Sammy and take him to his school. At 8:30 am I had to get up to get ready for my 9 am student. I then had three students in a row, teaching until 1:15 pm which was pretty long. Then I left to pick up Sammy at 1:30 pm, and had lunch after we got back home. Then I had to sit down at the computer again to get ready for my 2:20 pm student. Sammy played by himself until Randy and the kids got home at 2:30 pm.
I taught until 3:10 pm, then I made the kids sandwiches and went downstairs for piano practice. Just after 4 pm I left the house with Tammy and Emmy, and we took the 4:20 pm train. Randy and Sammy left a few minutes later to go to Sammy's wheelchair class. The three of us took the tram after the train and walked to the school where they have their exercise class every Thursday. Every week another kid gets to take the mascot Max home for a week, and Tammy had had Max for the three weeks since before Christmas. The night before I had printed out four pictures of her with Max and written a short diary entry into Max's diary. The kids got changed and went inside where Tammy returned Max; the trainer read her entry to everyone and showed her pictures.
Then it was time for their class. It was the third of five tennis sessions but it's more about playing games with rackets and balls. In any case, they had fun. As for me, I sat in the locker room reading and on my phone at first but soon I got so tired that I had to close my eyes. At 5:45 pm the class was over, they got changed, and we walked back to the tram stop to get to the train station where we took the 6:01 pm train home.
Back home I cut up their fruit and gave it to them to eat, then sat down at the computer to prepare for my 8 pm student. Then I went downstairs with Tammy as she hadn't finished her piano practice earlier that day. Back upstairs, it was bathtub time, then we read a story and I prayed for them. They went to bed while I sat down at the computer to teach until 9 pm.
On Friday I got to sleep a little longer after going back to bed as I got up at 9:30 am to teach at 10 am. After I finished at 11 am, I prepared for my 11:15 student and taught until 12:30. Then I had to leave immediately to go pick up Sammy from school. It was snowing hard when I left the house, and quite deep snow was everywhere.
Once we were back home, I finally got to eat lunch, wrap up my lesson, make sandwiches for the kids and prepare for my next lesson. Time was going by fast. Before I knew it it was 3 pm and time for us to leave the house.
Randy had picked up Tammy and Emmy at their school at 1 pm and taken them to their 2 pm tennis class. The kids were enjoying the snow everywhere, also once the class was over at 3 pm and they were walking to the train stop to come meet us with us. At 3:45 pm Sammy and I were waiting for them on the subway platform, then we saw them walking up to us, and the five of us got on the next subway train. Tammy, Emmy and I got off after a few stops while Randy and Sammy continued riding to the train station and then rode the train home.
The three of us walked to the mall and to the dance studio where they had breakdance at 4 pm. They got changed and went inside, while I went to the lounge. I sat down on a two-seater and started reading but I soon got so tired that all I could do was to close my eyes, and I fell asleep. A whole bunch of women came in that were pretty loud which woke me up, and then my alarm went off 10 minutes before the class ended. I packed up my stuff and walked to the classroom to watch them dance the last few minutes. At 5 pm the class was over, we got dressed and walked through the mall back to the subway that we took to the train station. However, our 6:18 pm train was canceled which was annoying. We had to wait in the cold until 6:31 pm, and that time was greatly missed once we were home. I had to quickly cut up their fruit and give it to them before sitting down to teach at 6 pm. By 7 pm I was done, and we went downstairs for piano practice. Then it was bathtub time but I did not have time for stories once they were back out. I quickly prayed for them and sat down to each from 8 to 9 pm. Then I had something to eat and relaxed a bit before going back to work.
