Day 2581. Tammy started having a cold during the night, her nose being affected, but it was Sammy, as usual, who was up very early. And having only one room, Randy kept trying to keep the kids quiet so I could sleep. I had gone to bed way too late. Just after 8 am Randy let me know it was time to get up.

Breakfast was at 8:30 am, so we went downstairs to eat. There was a buffet which was nice as everyone could eat what they wanted. We had a good time and talked to a few minutes, then we went back to our room for a short time. At 9:45 am we had to be back downstairs to walk over to the pier and the boat together. We had a one-hour boat ride from 10 to 11 am, the whole boat just for our group. Tammy was clearly not feeling well, and you can tell when you look at the pictures. We all sat on the top of the boat where we had a great view. They played a recording with information about the lake from time to time but it was hard to hear since everyone was talking and having a good time. Emmy was with some other boys for much of the time, while Tammy was just sitting somewhere. Sammy was with me and had friends come by to spend time with him all the time.

Once we got off the boat, we walked to the lighthouse right there to take a group picture, then we made our way back to the hotel. We had some fun on the grass in front of the hotel, then we left Tammy and Emmy with the group to have fun, while Randy, Sammy and I  went to our room for a short time. I lay down on my bed and closed my eyes for a little bit as I was so tired. Just before 12:30 we left to go to the other house where we eat. We were the first ones there but soon everyone arrived, including Tammy and Emmy.

We then had a great three-course meal again but Tammy didn't want to eat, and the others didn't eat much either. Sammy had started coughing while Emmy's nose had also started running. We had Sammy's physiotherapist from kindergarten sitting at the table with us, and a boy that was in Sammy's kindergarten came to us as well. He's an identical twin, like Sammy and Emmy, so we took a picture of the two sets of twins.

After having eaten, everyone was talking about going to the beach where they had little kayaks and paddle boards. Our kids wanted to go swimming into the hotel pool first so we headed there after having changed. We were once again the only ones in there, and the kids had lots of fun. Later a mother and son also came but that was not a problem. After we had left and changed, we walked to where everyone was at the beach.

And they were all having fun. Tammy went straight into the water and paddled with the kayak for a few minutes, while Emmy found a soccer ball and started playing right after he had tried to make some huge bubbles. Then it was Sammy's and Randy's turn with the bubbles. Then someone asked Sammy whether he wanted to take a boat ride, so he got into the kayak with the physiotherapist and had fun. Emmy got to go on the stand-up paddle board at the same time. At 4:30 pm they brought some cake for everyone, and the kids had a few pieces. Then Sammy got to go on the water again, this time on the paddle board, and Tammy also sat on it. Then Tammy joined the other kids who were throwing mud on one of the adults standing on top of a wooden platform. She was really enjoying the mud.

It was after 5 pm, and everyone was getting pretty tired so we decided it was time to go and have a break. The kids rinsed off but Tammy couldn't find her shoes. She had to walk back barefoot, and we told some people about the missing shoes so the last person could take them with them if they found them.

Back at the room, the kids go on their tablets while I lay down to get some rest. Just before 6:30 pm we left to walk to the hotel restaurant for dinner. Sammy looked really tired, and Tammy was feeling miserable and didn't want to eat anything. Thankfully I got her to eat the soup, and she had a few fries. The other two ate very little as well. We needed to get moving after we had finished eating. Everyone started moving outside just before 8 pm. We said good-night to everyone and went to our room where the kids got ready for bed. They went to bed, and I turned my computer on to work on the pictures and the report. I had 200 pictures, so I'm not gonna get done with them tonight.
