HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 2627. After a one week fall holiday, this is week 8 of the school year. But Monday was still a school holiday, though not a public holiday. However, there was no sleeping in for me. I set my alarm for 8:45 am as we had a guy coming to clean the house at 9 am. He came right on time, and I explained everything, then he went to work, and so did I. I only had my first student at 11 am, so I had time to first tidy up, and then work on the computer. The kids were downstairs while he was cleaning upstairs, then came upstairs, when he went downstairs. At 1 pm he was done and left. Sammy likes cleaning personnel a lot and has been talking about him ever since.
I had started cooking after finishing with my student at noon, then we all sat down to eat. In the afternoon, we did piano and reading practice, then I worked on the computer. I only started teaching again at 5:30 pm and taught until 7:30 pm. Then it was bathtub time. At 8 pm I started teaching, and the kids lay down in my bed next to me where they fell asleep. After I was done at 9 pm, I took them to their beds and sat down to eat and take a break before going back to work.
Tuesday
On Tuesday the alarm went off at 6:15 am again. The kids had been getting up later than that, even Sammy, so we had to wake them all up but they got up more easily than expected. Just after 7 am Randy left the house with Tammy and Emmy to take them to school, then he returned home and got Sammy to take him to his school. I had filled their snack boxes at 6:15 am and had then gone back to bed.
I got back up at 10:30 am to teach from 11 to noon. Then I warmed up leftovers for us to eat. Randy left before 1 pm to pick up Tammy and Emmy, while I picked up Sammy at 1:30 pm. At 2:15 pm Randy got home with the other kids, and at 2:45 pm he left again with Sammy and Tammy to go to their dance school. Emmy stayed home, and at 3 pm I started teaching. Once I was done at 4 pm, Emmy and I also left the house.
We rode the subway to the end, then I took Sammy to his soccer training that started at 4:30 pm. Once he was all set and ran to join the others on the field, I left and got back on the subway in direction of downtown. I passed our house and continued on to where Randy was gonna get off the bus with Sammy coming from the dance school. Sammy had his weekly private dance lesson at 3:30 pm, and at 4:30 pm Tammy's first dance class started with the same teacher. At 5:30 pm she had ballet. And so I got Sammy from Randy at 4:40 pm, and Randy got back on the bus going in the direction of the dance school. That way he could help her change into her ballet clothes. At 6:30 she was done, and they went home where they arrived at 7 pm.
Sammy and I rode the subway home where we had half an hour. I used the time to cut up the kids' fruit for dinner. At 5:30 pm we left the house again to go pick up Emmy at 6 pm, after his 90 minute soccer practice. We got there a few minutes early, so we got to watch him. He was on the ball a lot, playing really well, clearly one of the best players. After he was done, he got his stuff, and we left together. We rode the subway home. It was 6:30 pm, and the boys started eating their fruit. Once Tammy got home, she ate hers. I actually had a student at 6:45, going until 7:35. Then we still did piano practice but there was no time for the bathtub. They went to bed later than usual anyway. I then got myself something to eat and took a break before going back to work.
Wednesday
I filled the kids' snack boxes for school at 6:15, then I lay back down to sleep. My alarm went off at 9:30 am as I had students from 10 am until noon. Once I was done, I went to the kitchen to cook but warmed up other food for Randy as the food wasn't going to be ready in time. I left the house before 1:30 pm, and Randy left right after me. Sammy and I were back home before 2 pm. I then ate lunch and got ready for my 2:30 pm student. I started teaching before Randy had returned home with the other kids. At 3:20 pm I was done, quickly made their sandwiches, and left the house with Tammy and Emmy.
We rode two subways, then walked to the French institute where their class started at 4 pm. I left them there and walked back to the entrance where they had comfy seats. That's where I spent my 45 minutes, on my phone. Once they were done, we got back on the subway and rode two subways, then walked to the school where their next class was taking place. We walked up to the third floor and to the room where their class was going to be. It was still over 10 minutes until its start at 5:30 pm, and the kids from the previous class were in the room. I then left them there and hurried back tot he subway to make it to the train station in time to catch the 5:36 pm train home, which I did.
Back home, I went to the kitchen to cut up fruit for the kids, then I started working on my salad. At 6:30 pm Randy left to go pick the kids up again, while Sammy and I stayed home. We played some after I was done in the kitchen, but I also prepared for my 8 pm student. Randy and the kids returned home just after 7:30 pm. We did piano practice, then they got ready for bed. I prayed for them and sat down at my computer to teach from 8 to 9 pm. It was only Tammy who slept in our bed next to me. I took her to her own bed at 9 pm and sat down with my salad to eat and take a break before going back to work.
