Day 2582. It was Sunday, and breakfast was at 8:30 am again. The kids were up early, as usual. Tammy was still not feeling well and was a little hot, while the boys were both coughing.

After breakfast, most people in the group were getting ready to go to catholic mass. As we are not catholic, we talked about whether to join them or not. The kids wanted to go swimming one more time, so we went to the pool instead. They had lots of fun in the water, then more fun tilting the beds up and down.

We returned to the room to get changed and packed as we had to leave the room by 11:30 am. We went downstairs and asked about our suitcase getting kept by the hotel. The receptionist recommended I take the suitcase to the main hotel which is also closer to the bus stop. While we were there talking, more and more people were arriving, coming back from mass. Many of them had the traditional outfits of their order of Malta on. The women looked like nurses, or rather a mixture of a nurse and a Mennonite. They stood around for a while talking, then they all went to get changed. There was also a catholic priest that had joined our group, and I could overhear the conversations he was having while sitting with the group and watching the kids having fun. Tammy was walking through the water, while Emmy was playing and Sammy ended up going for a walk with some of the young adults.

Tammy wanted to walk to that little half-island, and I finally decided to join her and the others. I also walked through the water that was not deep at all as there hasn't been enough rain all summer. In some places you really sunk into the mud but we were fine. I tied Tammy's dress into a knot so it was shorter. We had a good time walking and listening to the many birds. Sammy also joined us eventually.

Then it was time to go and have dinner - our last meal together. Tammy and Emmy were not hungry as they weren't feeling well, but they did eat some. We had a good time eating and talking with people and spending time with the other kids.

After lunch, we all walked outside and sat down by the lake. People were enjoying the last hours with each other. The kids were playing, and Tammy was again going into the water. I had a good time talking with one of the Moms. Then people started saying good-bye and leaving. I had booked the 4:30 pm bus. The bus was leaving every full hour. After many people had left at 2:30 pm already, we decided to take the 3:30 bus instead. So we waited and talked some more, then we got our suitcase and walked to the bus stop. A teacher from Sammy's school joined us which was nice, and one of the men accompanied us to the bus stop as well. Then we took the bus, rode it for 20 minutes to the train station, and then we had a few minutes before the train was to leave. We had to take the elevator down and back up, and the train was already sitting there, so we got on. The teacher still had to buy a ticket, then she got on the train as well and sat down by us. Sammy then also sat down with us, right next to her, to enjoy spending more time with her.

By 4:45 pm we were back in Vienna and said good-bye to the teacher. We then took the next train taking us home, arriving just after 5 pm. I made the kids something to eat, even though I felt pretty miserable, just like the kids, Emmy feeling the worst. I still didn't cancel my lessons but taught from 6:30 to 7:30, then the kids went into the bathtub. They then went to bed in my bed, while I sat down to teach from 8 to 9 pm. After I was done, I took the kids to their beds and made myself something to eat. After having eaten, I started working on the pictures but feeling so miserable made it pretty hard. I finally gave up and went to bed, but it was still 1 am or so.
