Day 2097. Thursday is usually the day I teach the most. I went back to bed after Randy had left with the kids to take them to their kindergartens. My alarm woke me at 9:30, and I got up to get ready for my 10 am student. I had another student at 11 and finished teaching at noon. Then I got something to eat. Soon Randy returned with Sammy and left again to go pick up Tammy and Emmy. Sammy watched Peppa on the projector and played with the door while I was working. Randy and the other kids returned just before I started teaching at 2:30 pm. They soon all went downstairs to play.

I taught until 4:30, and Randy and Sammy left just before that for Sammy's wheelchair class. He had fun there, trying to roll under a swinging rope. As for us back home, I made their dinner while Tammy and Emmy got on their tablets. At 5:30 I had another student until 6:30, then I prepared for other lessons. Randy and Sammy returned home at 7 pm. I had just finished piano practice with Tammy and Emmy, and then they all went into the bathtub. I prayed for all of them before going to bed, and sat down at my computer for my last studend from 8:10 to 9 pm. Then I could finally go to the kitchen to get myself something to eat. After having eaten, I went back to work and went to bed around 1:30 but couldn't sleep for the longest time.

This morning I also continued sleeping after Randy had left with the kids. Once again my alarm went off at 9:30, and I got up to teach at 10 am. But first I put a lasagna into the oven so Randy would be able to eat before leaving. When I finished my first student at 11 am, I ate my half, combining breakfast with lunch, while preparing for my 11:15 am student. Randy came back from picking up another kid's bike at some point and then left to do a grocery run. I taught until 12:30 am, and Randy had to leave before I was done to catch the 12:27 pm bus. He picked up Tammy and Emmy and took them to their tennis class at 2 pm.

After I had finished teaching at 12:30 and wrapped it all up, I left the house to go pick up Sammy from his kindergarten. He was sitting in the yellow/red sports wheelchair again. The physiotherapist was there and told me how well Sammy can steer that wheelchair as it's easier to move it. She'd like him to have one like that. She'd also like him to have a new stander and walker, but obviously the insurance is not going to cover three items at once. Sammy said his good-byes, and we left to take the subway home.

Back home I had some scanning to do for my students, while Sammy was watching Peppa on the projector, at least for a while. He really can't do anything for very long. He then got his headset to listen to different things.

After I was done scanning, he could finally have my chair to play with the door. He had been waiting for that. I went to the kitchen to make their sandwiches and got everything ready for us to leave the house. Time went by fast. Just before 3 pm Sammy and I left the house and walked to the subway.

We rode the subway to the train station, bought a pastry for Sammy, and took the train for two stops. Then we took the elevator down and back up on the other side to go to the platform for the trains going the opposite direction. We were sitting there, waiting for Daddy and the siblings, when he called saying that their train was canceled and the next one was over 20 minutes later. And so Sammy and I sat there for a long time before their train finally arrived at 4 pm - the time Tammy's class was actually starting.

Since I didn't have a 6:30 pm student today, Emmy had asked me to come to soccer with him instead of taking Tammy to ballet as usually. I hadn't gone with him for a while, and so I agreed. And so Randy and Tammy got off the train and joined Sammy on the platform, while I got on the train with Emmy. They then took the bus that took them straight to the dance school where Tammy joined her ballet class late today. Randy and Sammy stayed in the locker room where Sammy was on his tablet.

Emmy and I rode the train for two stops back to the train station I had just come from, and there we got on the subway I had come with. But we passed our home and went all the way to the final stop. When we got off, we had 3 minutes until Emmy's class was starting at 4:30, but it took us longer to get there. Still, he wasn't as late for his class as Tammy had been for hers. I sat on a bench along the wall together with the other parents while watching Emmy play, as well as reading the paper. They always play against each other the second half of the class, and Emmy's team won 4:2 against the other team, and Emmy scored all four goals.

At 5:30 the class was over. We walked back to the subway and were back home by 6 pm. Randy and the others had arrived home a few minutes before us. I went to the kitchen to cut up their fruit and gave them their plates. Then I sat down at my computer to prepare for my 8:10 pm student. This week I taught every single night at 8:10 pm.

At 7 pm I went downstairs with Tammy and Emmy for piano practice, then they went into the bathtub. We were singing "Praise the Lord, oh my soul" as they're doing that song for their kindergarten musical. Soon Sammy was singing along as well, and he then sang it to Daddy on the changing table. Daddy recorded him. I then put him to bed with a prayer, while I found the song on YouTube and played it for Tammy and Emmy. Moments later Sammy had joined us, having left his bed by himself. He also wanted to see the video of the song. Then I prayed for Tammy and Emmy and sent them off to brush their teeth. I closed my doors and sat down at the computer to teach.

By 9 pm I was done teaching, but I still had work to do for a lesson tomorrow. I started scanning the pages I was going to need which took a long time. Randy was asleep in the chair by the kids' beds. Thankfully I had already eaten a sandwich while cutting their fruit so I didn't have to get anything to eat any more. It was 11 pm or so before I was finally done, and after midnight before I had transferred today's pictures to my computer. And so it's already after 2 am right now, and I still have to take care of the dishes.
