Day 1561. Thanks to the advent calendars, I don't get to stay in bed longer in the morning any more, but I have to get up and help them open then, then read the story from the story book calendar to them. After that, I made Sammy's snack box, while the kids had breakfast with Daddy. At 8:15 (or later) Randy leaves with Sammy to take him to kindergarten.

Day 1560. Sammy was up early, the other two slept a little longer. At 8 am we got up, when the alarm went off, and the kids were eager to open all their advent calendars. Just after 9 am we left the house together to catch the 9:20 train. It was just below freezing, but it had stopped snowing and the sun was coming out.

Day 1559. A day without an alarm clock. Yeah! At least not an electronic one. Emmy was the one waking me up, and of course he was impatient to open his advent calendar. Soon they were all up and wanted to open all the advent calendars, so  I had no choice but to get up and open them all with them.
