Day 1582. Last night they had not opened ALL their presents, even though Tammy wanted to really bad. I told them the socks were an American tradition, so they'd get to open them in the morning. And so they were eager to go downstairs to open them.

Day 1581. It was 3 am before I went to bed last night, and so I was pretty tired this morning. I don't know what time it was, when Sammy was the first one to wake up. Emmy woke up next, then Tammy, and they left to play. They also wanted to open the last door of their advent calendars, and I told them to just open whatever door was not open yet, which worked well.

 Day 1580. The day before Christmas. And we had still not started making our Christmas cookies. Yesterday I realized that I didn't have enough butter, so Randy bought some that we left out over night so it'd be soft to make the cookies. As for yesterday, it was Sammy's last day in kindergarten before the Christmas break. He's now going to be home for two weeks.
