Day 1384. It was another tough early morning after a long night. And Emmy was up at 7 am again and kept coming to me for stuff, even though I'd ask him every single time to let me sleep. One time it was to get the story-telling headset, another the crayons and coloring pages, or to open a squeezie for him. At some point Randy got up and made breakfast for them.

Day 1382. It was a typical morning. After breakfast we dressed the kids, and at 9:30 am we left the house and walked to the subway. We don't usually go anywhere on Thursday (except for Sammy who has physiotherapy) but today was a holiday. My good friend gave me the gift of a carriage ride for my birthday a few weeks ago, and today was the day to do it. We rode the subway downtown, then walked up to St. Stephen's Cathedral, the heart of our city.

Day 1381. Yesterday I had a very tiring day. I taught from 2 to 6 pm, four straight hours with barely enough of a break to go to the bathroom. Then I made dinner and put the kids to bed and taught from 8 to 9 and 9:30 to 10:30 pm. I was pretty exhausted after that, but I have a passion for teaching and love it. I ended up going to bed just before 3 am.
