Day 1409. The kids were up at their usual time of 6:30 am, and the first thing they wanted was to open the door so the cat could come in, which she always does. I went straight to work finishing packing our 5 suitcases, while Randy went downstairs to make breakfast.

Day 1408. Today was America's Independence Day, but unfortunately we did not do anything special. We had planned to go to what the closest town had planned by a lake nearby, but then there was a thunderstorm, and it rained hard, so we could not go.

Day 1407. And again they woke up later than yesterday today, and it was once again Sammy, who was the alarm clock. After breakfast we went to Grandma's house.
