Day 1075. This morning I woke up because Sammy was fussing, and I was surprised that it was already 8:30. I was even more surprised that Sammy was the only one awake, as it's usually Emmy who wakes up first, and it's very rare that he sleeps this late.

Day 1074. Yesterday we had the joy of having Sonja with us for much of the day. It was so great to hear her and the kids laughing together downstairs again, while having the freedom of doing whatever needed to be done without having to worry about the kids.

Day 1072. Yesterday morning we had to set an alarm, as Sammy had an early appointment with the speech therapist. The kids were all still asleep, when it went off at 7:30. This morning I had to set the alarm for even earlier, for 7:15 am.
