Day 973. Last night I went to bed just after 1 am. Thankfully Randy had succeeding in getting Emmy back to sleep. Tammy joined us in bed in the early morning hours and fell asleep. Emmy came later, and some time after 7 am he was up and running and soon his sister was awake and joining him too.

Day 972. Last night I went to bed at 1 am, hurrying as much as I could, as Emmy was sitting on the kitchen floor next to me, waiting for me to go to bed. He watched me with interest put the dishwasher soap in and turn it on, as I always do that at night and so they don't get to see it. He then listened to the dishwasher while I was getting ready for bed.

Day 971. Last night it was nearly 1:30 before I went to bed. Not smart. And it was quite a rough night with a lot of activity. Emmy came and left, Tammy came, Emmy came again, it was tight, and my arm went numb under Emmy's weight. And he was up early, then fell back asleep, then was up for good at 6:50.
