Day 1948. I had asked the kids to let me sleep this morning. And I was amazed that they actually did. They got up early, and as Tammy and Emmy both sleep on either side of me, I woke up, but then I fell back asleep and when I woke up, it was 11:30 am. I couldn't believe how quiet it was. Randy had given them breakfast and then taken them down, and none of the kids came back into our bedroom to wake me up.

Day 1947. Finally Christmas! The kids were so excited, so that there was no sleeping in for me. They wanted to open the last door in their advent calendars and got to open them all, and they had three each plus one with books that Grandma had given them. I had received a notification last night that a package was waiting at the post office for pickup.

Day 1946. I went to bed late, as usual, and was hoping to sleep in as we didn't have to go anywhere. Of course the kids were up early, and by 10:30 Randy got me out of bed so he could go to the grocery store. The kids then were all around me, wanting me to get up, and Sammy wanted to watch videos of themselves, when they were little, as did Tammy who was also sitting on my bed.
