Day 873. Last night I headed to bed at 1 am. The kids had all been sleeping peacefully in their beds up to that point. Before I could fall asleep, the girl came asking for milk. I gave her milk, and I was surprised to see her go back to her bed.

Day 872. [In the airport lounge in Ethiopia] I set a timer on my phone, as it was still on Malian time, to when it was probably time to leave the lounge. Randy and Sammy were finally both asleep, while I started writing my daily update,

Day 871. It was a chaotic afternoon and evening yesterday, and then we had to finish getting everything ready after all, and it all took time, so that it was already 12:30 am, when we headed to bed.
