Today is their biological first birthday. Happy Birthday! We celebrated with a (Christmas) photoshoot, and this time we'll have great pictures!

Last night I succeeded in going to bed earlier, at 1:30 am, thank God. It was definitely easier to go through the day today.

It's 10 pm, and I've been so tired all day that I'm determined to go to bed earlier tonight. For the second night in a row I went to bed really late last night. I was in such a flow with office work that I did not want to stop. At 3:45 I was heading to bed; and then it took me an hour to actually fall asleep. Sigh.

Last night it was a little later, 3:30, before I got to go to bed, and I paid the price today, especially as I did not get to sleep after their breakfast as I usually do.

We fed them at 9 am, but did not put them to bed, as they weren't tired enough yet.
