Day 2281. Finally Sunday and no commitments in the morning! I had gone to bed later than usual, at 2 am, so I was very much looking forward to sleeping in. And of course, the kids were loud and kept waking me up, but I did sleep well, especially after they had left.

Day 2280. This was week 11 of school for the kids, and Tammy and Emmy learned the German diphthong "ei", i.e. the way you pronounce that sound when those two letters are written together. They did a great job, reading it just as easily as the other letters they've learned.

Day 2274. Yesterday I got up at 9:30 am and got ready to leave the house which we we did less than half an hour later. Tammy, Emmy and I took our scooters, took the subway, then rode to the music school. At 10:30 am their class started. Two kids were missing, so there was only one other student besides our two.
