Day 2505. We had nowhere to go this morning which was nice but of course the kids don't let me sleep as they always need me for something. At 11 am I finally got up and went to the kitchen to cook. After lunch, it was time to turn the computer on and get some work done. We also got the suitcases out. Randy put the car seats into two of them, and the kids gave me the clothes they want to take on our trip.

Just after 4 pm we left the house to take the 4:20 pm train to church. The service started at 5 pm. The kids - especially Emmy - were really disappointed that there was no children's program because it was the first day of the summer break.

And the kids were tired. Emmy actually fell asleep while sitting on me. After half an hour of worship, Randy left with Tammy and Sammy to go to the baby room with them to play. A few minutes later Emmy went there as well after he had woken up, while I returned to the sanctuary for the sermon.

After the service ended, we spent some time talking with the pastor, and the kids had some food. Then we said our good-byes. Someone gave Sammy money for McDonald's, so we bought a Happy Meal before getting on the subway to go home.

Just after 8 pm we were back home, and the kids were still hungry so I warmed up some food for them to eat. Then they got ready for bed and went to bed after I had prayed for them. I then got myself something to eat and took a break before going back to work. Now it's after 1:30 am and time to take care of the dishes.

This morning I was thankful for the opportunity to sleep in. Around 11 am I got up and went to the kitchen to make lunch. After we had eaten, I still had some time to work. At 1:15 pm we left the house together.

We took the subway downtown, then took a bus and walked to the nearby playground where we were meeting our friends. The kids then had fun playing there, while I enjoyed talking to my friend. After a while, we started walking in the direction of the icecream shop that we have a tradition of going to. We all enjoyed the delicious icecream there.

Then we started walking in the direction of the museum quarter and walked through their courtyards. We saw remote-controlled boats, and the kids climbed up a climbing construct. Then we got to a place where kids could build with legos. However, I was very tired, Sammy wanted to go home, and Tammy didn't want to do legos, and so we said our good-byes and walked to the nearest subway stop and rode it home.

When we got home at 5 pm, I was so exhausted that I lied down and closed my eyes for a while. Then I got up to make their sandwiches and cut up their fruit. While they were eating, I went back to work on my computer. After they had come out of the bathtub, I prayed for them and sat down to teach from 8 to 9 pm. Emmy fell asleep in my bed, and I took him back to his own after I was done. I worked until 9:30 pm, then I went to the kitchen to get something to eat. After I was done eating, I went back to work. Now it's 2 am, and I still have to take care of the kitchen. Tomorrow is our last day in Austria.
