HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 2516. Six hours after going to bed, my alarm went off this morning. We got up and went to breakfast. After breakfast, we got into the car and drove to church for the second day of the conference. The first meeting was starting at 9:30, and we dropped the kids off at kids' ministry just before that. Then we walked to the sanctuary to get a seat but there were none left downstairs. We had no choice but to walk the long staircase up and up and up and sit in the balcony. I wasn't happy, especially as there were no restrooms upstairs, and it felt quite removed from what was going on downstairs. Even more so once the speaker I didn't know was walking around and praying for people. His name was Richard Gordon, a South African. I had never heard (of) him before.
At noon we had to pick up the kids but we were encouraged to bring them to the sanctuary to get prayed for. We picked them up and returned to the sanctuary where we were directed to the left side of the stage. Somebody helped Randy get Sammy up the stairs to the platform. Then we waited behind a crowd of people for the speaker to come our way and pray especially for Sammy. There were a lot of people on the stage waiting. We slowly eased forward on the side but the speaker kept busy with other people and didn't even notice the wheelchair. Then his assistant noticed Sammy and came to him to pray for him. Sammy then asked him to pray for me which he did, and Sammy wanted him also to pray for Daddy and his siblings which he did.
He walked away, and before we could decided what to do, the speaker had finally noticed Sammy and came over to pray for him. He asked his name and how old he was and whether those were his siblings next to him. Then he asked him whether he could pray for him, and Sammy said yes. Next he asked him whether he wanted to say "Jesus", and Sammy said "Jesus" into the microphone. He made him say Jesus two more times, just louder, and the people cheered, then he started praying for him. Sammy was nervous, holding on to my hand hard, while also enjoying the moment. The speaker said that God was pleased with him, with Sammy's joy and laughter, and that he was bringing joy to his family. He prayed for God to baptize him with his fire. Then he asked Sammy whether he could feel God and where. Sammy touched his head. Richard then put his hand on his head and continued praying. After he had stopped, he asked Sammy what he thought God was doing. Sammy answered, "He's making me walk." Richard thought he'd said, "He's making me strong." which was also good, and shared that with everyone. People were cheering. I then told him that he had cerebral palsy, so healing would be happening in the brain.
Then Sammy asked Richard whether he could also pray for his Mom. Before that I told him that we were missionaries to Africa, stranded in Austria. When he started praying and prophesying over me, I handed my phone that I had been filming with to Randy. Something happened and the filming stopped. I'm disappointed that I do not have recorded what he prophesied. Randy then got his own phone out and recorded the prophesies Emmy and Tammy got which were powerful. The first guy had already prophesied that Tammy had a prophetic gifting, then Richard prophesied about her creativity. Over Emmanuel he prophesied about him serving God and that something was going to happen when he was 17 years old. These are the transcribed words:
For Emmy: "Emmanuel, the Lord has raised you in the Spirit, like Samuel. For God's hand will be upon you for ministry. I see the age 17, and I see the Lord, like he's inviting you into a great God... The Lord's hand will be upon you in a very significant way. God, I pray that your fire would rest upon him right now, in Jesus' name."
For Tammy: "Tammy, I see colors all around you. And I see the Lord just anointing you with creativity. And I see just colors, and colors and colors and colors and colors. I see the Lord open your eyes in the Spirit. God has anointed your seeing in the Lord. In Jesus' name."
First guy for Tammy: " We bless this prophetic woman, God. You have given her a prophetic gift to hear your voice and to speak it out. And God is going to show you things that He might not show other people but that will just be for you. So I bless the prophetic gifting that you can always hear God's voice. And that God is going to give you dreams and visions of the future: He's going to open your eyes to the Spirit realm. And He's going to put gold into your hands to be able to help other people in their lives. So I bless you, Tammy, in Jesus' name. Amen."
Wow, what a blessing! We slowly made our way off the stage. On the way one lady hugged me and prayed for me. We then walked to our car and drove to Walmart to buy some groceries, then went to the hotel where we ate what we had bought. I was still full with the words the children had received and very excited about them. The kids were eager to go swimming, so we put our swimsuits on and went to the pool.
However, when I put my feet into the water I couldn't believe how cold it was. Just like the Austrian pools! There was no way I was getting into that water! The kids didn't care and jumped right in. Sammy went in as well. I was a little concerned for him to be in the water without an adult, but he was doing just fine and never needed any help. His swimming has also improved a lot. I always stayed close to him and asked him to stay close to the side of the pool. All three kids were having fun. But after a while they were getting very cold and started shivering so they got out of the water. Before we went to our room, I wanted to let the person at the reception know that the water was way too cold but they didn't care. They said it was 82 degrees Fahrenheit.
Back in the room, we had a hot shower, then the kids got on their tablets. I moved all the pictures and videos of the morning to my computer but soon got so tired that I could not continue on. At 4:30 pm I finally got to lie down for a much-needed nap. Of course the kids made it hard to sleep with all their noise but I did get some sleep any way, even though it was often interrupted. Randy also fell asleep somewhat.
At 6:15 pm my alarm went off, and I made myself get up. We got ready and left to drive back to church for the evening session of the conference. We dropped the kids off at kids' ministry, then were lucky to get two seats in the last row downstairs so that we did not have to go back upstairs. I then enjoyed worship very much, as well as the speaker, and was able to stay awake thanks to my nap. Halfway through the preaching the children's ministry called me that Sammy was asking for us so Randy left to go to him - and never came back. I finished listening to the sermon, then Randy came with the kids and we walked to the car to drive back to the hotel. First we picked up a pizza again to eat for dinner. By 10:30 pm we were home and enjoyed the food, then the kids got ready for bed. Tammy was asleep immediately, while Emmy was still awake after 11 pm. I then sat down at my computer to work on the pictures and write my report. Now it's nearly 2 am so another short night is ahead of me.
