Day 2524. I set my alarm for 8:15 this morning as a student had wanted to do a lesson but when I checked my phone, they said it wasn't gonna work out so I was happy to go back to bed. Tammy was still next to me while the others had gotten up; after some time she got up as well. I was quite tired as it had been a rough night with the kids next to me moving a lot. Eventually I got up and had breakfast.
At 10:30 am we left the house and drove to In-N-Out Burger for lunch; we picked up some chicken from Wendy's on the way as she doesn't like burgers. We had a good time with Randy's daughter and her children, then we continued on to an activity center. We bought our tickets and then found out that the pool was closed. Sammy was crying as he wanted to go in the pool so bad. She then told us that we could go to their partner facility a 10-minute drive away. And so we left Tammy and Emmy there with Randy's daughter and drove off with Sammy to go swimming with him.
For two hours we had lots of fun at the pool. Thankfully the water was warm. After two hours we got changed and left to drive back to the other place. We met up with them and drove back to the house. The kids had mostly played soccer and only spent little time on the playground.
At the house we started packing as we have to leave in the middle of the night tonight. From 5 to 6 pm I had a student then we had dinner together. After that, the kids continued playing with their niece and nephews until after 8 pm while Randy and I finished packing and Randy loaded all our suitcases into the car. Now it's nearly 8:30 pm, and we're all gonna go to bed until 1:30 am.
