HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 2495. I went to bed again at 7 am after Randy had left with Tammy and Emmy to take them to school. After his return, he took Sammy to school and then stayed there as they had a field trip and he was going to join them. They went to a park that had a little train that was going around it. Sammy was enjoying the train ride. Then they went to a playground and had their snacks. It was a fun time but they returned much later than planned.
As for me, my third alarm already went off at 9:30 am as I had a 10 am student. I taught until 11 am, then again from 11:30 to 12:30 pm. I was surprised that Randy hadn't come home as the plan had been for him to come home to eat before picking Sammy up again and taking him to horse-riding therapy. Because of them being late, Sammy didn't go back to school. Instead they came home to pick up the sandwiches I'da made for them, and left again to go to the therapy session. As for me, I ate what I had cooked, and there was enough to eat the next day as well.
Just after 2 pm I left the house and rode two buses to pick up Tammy and Emmy at 2:40 pm. We hopped into the grocery store before catching the buses back home where we arrived at about 3:30 pm. A few minutes later we left again to go to our tennis class at 4 pm. It was extremely hot, and Tammy didn't want to go. She was crying and had a fit, but she came. I told her afterwards how proud I was of her for coming anyway. We played from 4 to 5 pm and had fun, then we returned home.
Back home, I made their sandwiches and gave them to them but I didn't have time to cut up their fruit as I had to prepare for my 6 pm student. I taught until 7 pm, then cut up their fruit and gave it to them. A little later we went downstairs for piano practice. On Friday Emmy has his big piano performance, and he's gonna get there. He can play all four pieces well; we'll see how much damage his nerves are going to cause. He's going to be the first one to perform.
After they had both done piano practice, we went upstairs for them to go into the bathtub. It was nice not to have an evening student and not to have to watch the clock. After the bathtub, we had a short story time but it was already getting pretty late. I prayed for them, and they went to bed. It was close to 9 pm already. I then went to the kitchen to make myself something to eat and take a break before going back to work.
I didn't have students this morning but there was no sleeping in for me today. I did go back to sleep at 7 am, after Randy had left with Tammy and Emmy to take them to school. My third alarm went off at 8:30 am, and just before 9 am I left the house with Sammy. He had another appointment with a government doctor to assess where he is at so they can determine how much money we get every month. This time we had to go to the government building for it. We rode the subway downtown, walked to the building and took the elevator up to the second floor. We registered and were told where to go. Then we sat down and waited until Sammy's name was called which wasn't very long. We went into a small room where the doctor was sitting at the computer. I gave her the papers, and she asked some questions and also interacted with Sammy a little bit. After a few minutes we were done, and we left.
We walked back to the subway and rode it in the direction of our home. However, two stops before our home we got off, and I dropped him at his school as it wasn't quite 10:30 am yet. Then I went home where I went straight to bed and got some more sleep.
At 1 pm my alarm woke me up. Randy had warmed up leftovers and was about to leave the house to pick up Tammy and Emmy. I slowly got up and left just before 1:30 pm to pick up Sammy. Once back home, I warmed up leftovers to have lunch. At 2:30 pm Randy and the other kids returned home. They had to leave again after a few minutes as they had their tennis make-up class from 3 to 4 pm. Once again Tammy didn't want to go but went.
It was Sammy and me again. At 4 pm I started teaching, but Randy and the kids returned just after 4:15 pm. Then it was Sammy who left with Randy a few minutes later as he had his last wheelchair kids class tonight.
I taught until 5:15 pm, then was supposed to teach at 5:30 pm again but my student never came. So I went to the kitchen to cut up fruit for the kids. After they had eaten, we went downstairs for piano practice. Emmy did a pretend-concert twice in a row, playing his four pieces. Tammy also practiced but she had another bad day with lots of whining and complaining.
Back upstairs, Randy and Sammy had already returned so it was bathtub time. After the bathtub, they did their reading practice and got ready for bed. At 8 pm I started teaching. By 9 pm I was done and got myself something to eat. After having taken a break, I went back to work. Now it's way too late again, and I need to still take care of the dishes before going to bed.
