Day 2426. On Thursday Tammy and Emmy had a field trip to a park in Vienna to check out fauna and flora. I still hope to get some pictures at some point. Thankfully the weather was nice. As for me, my third alarm was set for 9:30 am as I had a 10 am student. By 11 am I was done and continued working, then I warmed up leftovers for us to eat. After 1 pm Randy left to pick up Tammy and Emmy, while I left just before 1:30 pm to pick up Sammy. By 2 pm we were back home, and I sat down at the computer to get ready for my 2:20 pm student. Randy and kids arrived a few minutes later than usual, after 2:30 pm.
By 3:10 pm I was done teaching and went to the kitchen to make sandwiches for the kids and get ready for us to leave the house. Then I went downstairs to do piano practice with the kids. Emmy was having a really bad day behavior-wise, and I was not able to do piano practice with him.
We left just after 4 pm to take the 4:20 pm train; we actually made the train that runs a few minutes before that. Arriving at our destination allowed me to make a quick stop at the grocery store before getting on the tram that took us to the school where they had their class.
We still arrived there plenty early. The kids changed and went inside for the last of five sessions of volleyball. They had lots of fun. I stayed in the locker room and had to close my eyes soon as I was so very tired.
At 5:45 pm the class was over. The kids came out, got dressed, and we left to make the next tram so we'd catch the 6:01 pm train home, and we did. By 6:15 pm we were home. I went straight to the kitchen to cut up their fruit and gave it to them. Then I sat down to prepare for my 8 pm student. At 7 pm Sammy returned home from his wheelchair kids class where he always has lots of fun. I tried again to do piano practice with Emmy but again to no avail. Then it was bathtub time. After that, I prayed for them and sat down to teach from 8 to 9 pm. It was Emmy's turn to fall asleep in my bed but I told him no because had had behaved to bad all day. After I was done teaching at 9 pm, I got myself something to eat, then went back to work and to bed around my usual 2 am time.
This morning I went back to bed after Randy had left with the kids, then my third alarm woke me up at 9:30 am as I had a 10 am student. I taught until 11 but not at 11:30 as my student had canceled. That gave me the time to cook. We had lunch, then Randy left just after noon while I left before 12:30 to pick up Sammy. By 1 pm we were back home. We then had two hours at home. I was preparing for my afternoon students while Sammy was on his tablet. I was extremely tired but kept powering on.
At 3:15 pm we left the house and took two subways across town. Sammy had a toy cellphone with him, and we were role-playing the whole time. At 3:45 we arrived at our destination and didn't have to wait long until Randy arrived with the other kids. They'd had their last tennis class in the old tennis school from 2 to 3 pm. I gave Randy Emmy's sandwich, we had a minute to catch up, then Tammy, Sammy and I got on the subway going back home while Randy took Emmy to his breakdance class. Just after 4:15 pm we were back home. I then made their sandwiches and gave them to them to eat, then started on the fruit.
I then taught from 5 to 7 pm. Randy and Emmy got home before 6 pm. They were eating their fruit while I was teaching. Once I was done, we went downstairs for piano practice. Back upstairs it was bathtub time but there was no time for reading practice today. I quickly prayed for them and sat down to teach at 8 pm. Tammy lay down in my bed, and a while later Emmy did too. When I was done at 9 pm, I took them back to their beds and went to the kitchen to get myself something to eat. After a break, I went back to work. Now it's nearly 2 am.
