Day 2433. After Randy had left to take the kids to school, I didn't have much time to sleep as my alarm went off at 9:15 am. At 9:45 I started teaching. After I was done, I left the house and rode the subway downtown, then walked to my dentist's office. I don't usually have to wait there but the place was busier than I had ever seen it, and I waited until 11:30 am before my name was called.

By noon I was done and left to return home. I arrived at 12:30 pm which was just enough time to make a quick lunch and for Randy to eat before leaving just after 1 pm to pick up Emmy. Tammy was home a for a second day because she had a cold and wasn't feeling well. I left just before 1:30 pm to pick up Sammy. Tammy stayed home alone for the 20+ minutes I was gone. It was her second time ever staying home alone. She had her tablet that she can use to call me on my phone. I actually called her first to see whether it's working.

When I got to Sammy's school, he was test-riding a bike so I made a video of him. He was doing really well. While I was filming him, Tammy called but I couldn't pick up. Randy picked up instead. Tammy was freaked out by me not picking up and Randy got to hear it all, then asking me how in the world I could have left her home alone. When Sammy and I walked out of the school, Tammy and I connected again and stayed on the video-call until we got home. She was totally fine again.

I had to get ready to teach at 2:20 pm. Tammy and Sammy were having fun together. At 2:30 Randy and Emmy returned home. At 3:10 pm I was done teaching and made their sandwiches, then I went downstairs to do piano practice with them. Emmy was having a bad day so it was not possible with him.

Just after 4 pm Tammy, Emmy and I left. We made the earlier train, then got on the tram and got to the school a little earlier than usual. The kids changed, took their sticker books and bottles and went inside the gym. It was the first of five sessions of "parkour" so I was curious how it was going to go. They did an obstacle course and lots of jumping. I stayed in the locker room. Even though I was really tired my phone kept me busy. At 5:45 the class was over. The kids changed, we walked to the tram and took the next one back to the train station. Unfortunately we didn't make the 6:01 pm train. Surprisingly, there was one at 6:10 pm which was unusual. That way we didn't have to wait as long as expected.

By 6:30 pm we were back home, and I went straight to the kitchen to cut up their fruit. Sammy returned home from his wheelchair class a few minutes later. After they had eaten, I went downstairs with Emmy for piano practice. Back upstairs it was bathtub time. After that, we had just enough time for them to say their Bible verses and for me to pray for them. Then I started teaching. At 9 pm I was done and went to the kitchen to get myself something to eat and have a break.

On Friday I had an additional 15 minutes with my third alarm going off at 9:30 am. I taught from 10 to 11 am, then from 11:30 to 12:30 pm. Thankfully we had leftovers that Randy could warm up to eat as he left the house just after noon to go pick up Tammy. Emmy had a very special afternoon planned, going home to his best friend's house for the afternoon. They had both been looking forward to it for weeks. Emmy had to skip his breakdance class for it. Tammy was crying because she wanted to go with them so bad.

After I was done teaching, I left to pick up Sammy. By 1 pm we were back home, and I got to warm up my food and eat. Randy and Tammy returned home at 1:30 pm. There were no other commitments for the kids in the afternoon which is rare. They got to play and have fun all afternoon. I also helped Tammy do all the schoolwork she still had to do having missed two days of school. I made their sandwiches, then taught from 5 to 7 pm. Emmy's friend's family dropped Emmy off around 7 pm. He'd had a great afternoon with his friend.

It was bathtub time. After that, we still had to do piano practice and reading practice. Then I prayed for them and sat down to teach. At 9 pm I was done and went to the kitchen to get something to eat and take a break.
