HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 2446. On Tuesday I went back to bed after Randy had left with the kids to take them to school. I didn't have any morning students so I was able to sleep in which was nice. I eventually got up and went to the kitchen to cook lunch. We ate, then Randy left just after 1 pm to pick up Tammy and Emmy and go to Emmy's soccer class with them. I left just before 1:30 pm to pick up Sammy and was back home before 2 pm.
We had just over an hour at home, and I had plenty of work to do, preparing for my students. Just before 3:30 pm Sammy and I left the house together. We rode the subway for three stops, then waited for Randy and the kids to arrive. Once they did, I handed Randy Tammy's dance clothes and sandwich and took Tammy's school bag. Then Randy and Tammy got on the next bus, while I rode the subway home with the boys.
Just after 4 pm we were back home. I gave the boys their sandwiches and sat down to teach at 4:10 pm. I taught for an hour, then another hour. Every time I had a few minutes between lessons, I cut up some more fruit for them. I finished at 6 pm and had 15 minutes before my next student at 6:15 pm. That was enough time to finish with the fruit and give it to the boys.
I had a longer lesson than usual, going until 7:30 pm. Randy and Tammy returned home at 7 pm, and after Tammy had had a chance to eat her fruit, the kids went into the bathtub while I was still teaching. That's where they were when I was done. After they got out of the water, we still had to go downstairs for piano practice, and Tammy wanted to do her reading practice. I quickly prayed for them, then sat down to teach at 8 pm.
At 9 pm I was done and went to the kitchen to get something to eat and take a break. After that, I went back to work.
Wednesday
The times for sleeping in were over. My third alarm went off at 9:30 as I had a 10 am student. I taught until 11 am, then got ready for my 11:30 am student and taught until 12:30. Then I warmed up leftovers for us to eat. Randy left just before 1 pm to pick up Sammy and take him to his weekly horse riding therapy. I had a little more time and left at 2 pm to pick up Tammy and Emmy who always have an additional hour at school on Wednesday. They came out of the building at 2:40 pm, and we walked to the bus stop. There's a grocery store right there, and we made a quick trip inside so I could buy my weekly salad - and of course the kids got to pick some candy as well. Then we got on the bus that took us to the second bus that took us home.
By 3:25 pm we were back home. The kids had some icecream while I made their sandwiches and got everything ready for us to leave the house 15 minutes later. We rode the subway for three stops, then rode our scooters to the tennis club where we had our lessons at 4 pm. The adults play on one court, and the kids on the one right next to it. It was a very warm but also very windy day. One adult was not there, so we were only two adults playing which was nice. In the kids' group, there are three children. We all had a great time.
After our classes had ended, we went back to the subway and rode it home. Randy and Sammy had stayed home. Back home I cut up their fruit and gave it to them, then I sat down to teach at 6 pm. I taught for an hour, then we went downstairs for piano practice. Back upstairs, it was bathtub time. Then I prayed for them and sat down to teach at 8 pm. Tammy and Emmy both fell asleep in my bed next to me. I taught for more than an hour, then took the kids to their beds and went to the kitchen to get myself something to eat. After taking a break, I went back to work.
Thursday
This morning my third alarm also went off at 9:30 am as I once again had a 10 am student. I taught until 11 am, then prepared for my 11:30 pm student, then went to the kitchen to quickly put everything into a put for our soup. I then taught from 11:30 to 12:30, then finished the soup so Randy and I could eat. At 1 pm Randy left to pick up Tammy and Emmy, while I left just before 1:30 pm to pick up Sammy. By 2 pm we were back home.
And I had to get ready for my 2:20 pm student. At 2:30 pm Randy got home with Tammy and Emmy. At 3:20 I was done teaching and made the kids' sandwiches. Then I went downstairs to do piano practice with the kids. Emmy was having quite a bad day again today so it was impossible to practice with him. I went upstairs to get ready for us to leave the house which we did just after 4 pm.
Tammy, Emmy and I took the 4:20 pm train, then the tram to the school where they had their exercise class at 4:50 pm. I sat down in the locker room but was so tired that I had to close my eyes pretty soon. It wasn't very comfortable but I had a series of short power naps until their class was over at 5:45 pm. Then we walked back to the tram, rode it to the train station and rode the 6:01 pm train home where we arrived at 6:15 pm. I went straight to the kitchen to cut up their fruit and gave it to them. Then I cut up my own salad to eat later tonight. Randy and Sammy returned home around 6:30 pm. Sammy had had lots of fun in his wheelchair class, as his pictures testify. After I was done in the kitchen, I sat down at the computer to prepare for my 8 pm student, then I went downstairs with Emmy to do piano practice. Thankfully it worked out this time around. Back upstairs, it was time for the bathtub. After that, I prayed for them and sat down to teach from 8 until 9 pm. Tammy and Emmy came to sleep in my bed but they wouldn't behave so I kicked them out. In fact, Emmy was still awake when I finished teaching which is unusual. I got my salad and sat down to eat and take a break. After that, I went back to work. It's probably going to be around 2 am again before I make it to bed.
