HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 2452. On Monday I had an 11 am student so my third alarm was set for 10:30 am. I taught until noon, then went to the kitchen to get lunch ready for Randy and me. At 1 pm Randy left to pick up Tammy and Emmy, while I left at 1:30 to pick up Sammy. When we got home just before 2 pm, Grandma had just arrived. We went downstairs together. When Randy and the other kids arrived just before 2:30 pm, I went upstairs to teach, while they joined Grandma downstairs to spend time with her.
I taught until 3:20 pm, then quickly went to say good-bye to my Mom who had come bearing gifts because of my birthday on Thursday. Then I sat back down to teach from 3:30 to 4:20 pm. Randy left with Tammy and Emmy at 3:50 pm to take them to their programming class. I had been able to make sandwiches for them that they took with them. Sammy was on his tablet while I was teaching.
After I was done, I made Sammy a sandwich as well. At 4:45 pm I had my next student, and Randy returned just after I had started. He left again at 5:30 pm, and at 5:35 pm I was done teaching. Now I was fully available to Sammy. I went to the kitchen to cut up fruit for the kids, then prepared for my evening student. At 6:30 pm Randy returned with the kids, and they sat down to eat their fruit. Then we went downstairs for piano practice. Emmy is practicing for his concert end of June now so he has to spend more time practicing than his sister.
Back upstairs it was bathtub time, followed by prayer time, then I sat down to teach at 8 pm while the kids went to bed. By 9 pm I was done and went to the kitchen to get something to eat. After taking a break, I went back to work.
Tuesday is usually the day I can sleep in - after getting up at 6:45 to fill the kids' snack boxes and do Tammy's hair. At noon I got up and went to the kitchen to cook lunch. At 1 pm Randy left to pick up Tammy and Emmy and take them to Emmy's soccer class at 2:30 pm. I left at 1:30 pm to pick up Sammy and bring him home. We had about an hour at home before leaving again, and I had to prepare for my students.
At 3:20 pm we left the house and rode the subway for three stops to meet up with the rest of the family. We were still walking to our meeting spot when I saw Randy and the kids coming our way. I gave Randy Tammy's dance clothes and sandwich and took her schoolbag. Randy and Tammy then got on the next bus to go to her dance school where she had dance sport at 4:30 pm and ballet at 5:30 pm. The boys and I took the next subway home.
I made their sandwiches and cut up their fruit and gave it all to them. Then I taught from 5:15 until 6:30 pm. Randy and Tammy returned home just before 7 pm, and Tammy sat down to eat her fruit. Then we went downstairs for piano practice and did reading practice. After that, it was bathtub time followed by prayer time. Somehow time got away from me so it was 8:10 pm before I started teaching. After I was done at 9 pm, I went to the kitchen to get something to eat and take a break, then I went back to work.
Today, Wednesday, I had to get up at 9:30 am already as I had a 10 am student. I taught for an hour, then had another student at 11:30 am. After I was done, I warmed up some leftovers to eat. Randy left just before 1 pm to pick up Sammy and take him to his horse riding therapy. I enjoyed getting a break until 2 pm, then I left to pick up Tammy and Emmy at 2:40 pm as they get ouf of school an hour later on Wednesday. We made a quick trip inside the grocery store by the bus stop, then rode two buses home where we arrived just before 2:30 pm.
Time was short. The kids got changed, and I got all our stuff together, and at 3:45 pm we left and rode the subway for three stops, then walked to the tennis club where our classes started at 4 pm. It was only Tammy and Emmy in their class today, while we adults were three students. I greatly enjoyed my hour of playing tennis again. Tammy and Emmy were playing against each other at the end, and Tammy won which greatly upset Emmy who stayed upset all the way home.
We got home before 5:30 pm. I went to the kitchen to make their sandwiches, then sat down to teach at 6 pm. When I was done at 7 pm, I quickly cut up their fruit and gave it to them, then we went downstairs for piano practice. I was glad that I didn't have a 8 pm student as it was later than usual. That way we didn't have to worry about time. Still, there was no time for the bathtub as it was nearly 8 pm by the time we went back upstairs. The kids did their Bible verses, then we prayed, and they went to bed while I went to the kitchen to get myself something to eat. After having taken a break, I went back to work. Tammy, Sammy and I have all not been feeling well today - coughing, sore throat and a headache.
