Day 2397. It was after 2 am before I went to bed last night. This morning, Sammy was up before 6 am and Emmy just after him. Then the alarm went off at 6:15 am as usual; I had forgotten to turn it off. I couldn't believe they had gotten up even before that time. Tammy was still asleep but the boys soon woke her up.

Day 2396. The day started like any other school day. Randy first took Tammy and Emmy to school, then Sammy, while I went back to bed for a little bit. At 8:50 am my alarm already went off. I got up and got ready, and just after 9 am Randy and I left the house and walked to the train station to take the 9:20 am S-train to the main train station across the river.

Day 2395. This is no typical week. Most Monday mornings I don't have students but I did this time. My third alarm went off at 10:30 am, and I taught from 11 to 12. Then I made a quick lunch for Randy and myself. At 1 pm Randy left to pick up Tammy and Emmy, while I left 15 minutes later to pick up Sammy.
