Day 1300. We got up early, as soon as the kids were up, as we had to pack up and leave the apartment. While they were having breakfast, I already started packing. We all put Malian clothes on today, as I was teaching a seminar at the conference. Now it's a good thing that their Malian clothes were way too big last year, as they could still wear them.

Day 1299. Early this morning Emmy left our bed to go lie down next to Sammy. A little later Sammy was then the one waking up before his brother. Soon they were all up. We had breakfast, then cleaned them up and dressed them. At 9:30 we left the house to be at church by 10 am. We parked in the nearby parking lot, got the wheelchair out, and started walking to the church.

Day 1298. It was 5:30, when Emmy asked to listen to stories on his headset. When I saw what time it was, I asked him to come back to bed and sleep. He started having a fit and crying really loud. Thankfully he did not wake anybody else up and finally lay down next to me and fell back asleep.
