Day 1293. Emmy is always the first one up and then wakes up his siblings. He also won't let me sleep. I now put the story-telling headsets already out at night so he can simply pick one up and listen to it without waking anyone up. At some point, though, he came to me asking to watch Kasperl, and I finally gave in and let them watch.

Day 1292. Yesterday I was teaching in the morning, the afternoon and the evening, from 10 am to 10 pm. In the afternoon Sammy had his weekly physiotherapy session, the first one with his new wheelchair that he got last Friday. The physiotherapy used much of the time to practice using the wheelchair with him, including getting out of it.

Day 1290. Yesterday we all stayed home. I was teaching four hours in a row in the afternoon, which was pretty exhausting, and then another hour from 9 to 10 pm. After lunch, Sammy was on the floor near me. I looked over, and there he was, pulling himself up onto his knees and then trying to push himself up with his arms so he would get into an upright,  kneeling position, which is the way he sits.
