Day 1267. Late last night I looked at my calendar and was reminded that we had to get up early this morning. It was a good thing I had looked. I set my alarm for 7:15 am, when I went to bed just before 2 am. When the alarm went off this morning, I nudged Randy to get up, but it took him a long time to get up.
Day 1266. Even though it was Sunday, and we could have slept in, Emmy woke up at his usual 7:30 time. He wanted to listen to stories on the headset, and once Tammy was awake, they wanted to watch Kasperl. Just after 9 am Randy got up to make oatmeal and change their diapers. After breakfast I cleaned them up and dressed them, and they went downstairs, while I turned my computer on to work.
Day 1264. It was a typical morning with Emmy being the first one up. Once they were all awake, they all joined us in bed, and the kids started singing HAPPY BIRTHDAY for Daddy. They wanted to give him their birthday presents right away, and so we went downstairs to get the drawings they had made, and they handed them to Daddy with much pride.
