Day 2079. Yesterday I would have like to sleep in but that's always hard when the kids don't go downstairs or to the park. At some point it did get quiet, and at 11 am I went to the kitchen to start cooking lunch. I made the national Malian dish that the kids had never eaten before and that I hadn't cooked in a long time - rice with peanut sauce.

Day 2077. After a way too short night, I was not happy this morning, when the kids wouldn't let me sleep. As most mornings, they were fighting with each other and then running to me crying and asking for help. At 9:30 am my alarm went off, and I had no choice but to get up, tired or not. I got ready to leave the house, made sure the kids were ready, and at 10 am we left.

Day 2076. On Wednesday all the kids went back to their kindergartens, so I got to go back to sleep for a little bit after they had left. At 10:40 am I got and got ready for my 11:15 student. I taught until 12:30, then Randy returned with Sammy. I had asked Randy to get Sammy a little earlier so that he'd return earlier with Tammy and Emmy, so Randy left right away to get them.
