Day 1055. It was a typical morning with Emmy being up early, but then I heard a loud thump and he started crying. I jumped out of bed and saw Tammy in Sammy's bed and Emmy on the floor. He had tried to climb into Sammy's bed and had fallen.

Day 1054. Once again they were up way too early, just after 6 am, and nothing I said made any difference. I stayed in bed as long as I could, not able to get any more sleep, and forced myself up just before 8:30. It was so late after breakfast and cleaning them up and dressing them that I did not go downstairs with them.

Day 1053. As usual they were up early, and I stayed in bed as long as possible. It was after 8:15 before I could make myself crawl out of bed to make breakfast. After cleaning them up and dressing them, we went downstairs, where we read a Bible story together. Then they wanted to draw, and Sammy wanted the piano, and after setting it all up, I went upstairs to work.
