Day 1938. After a long day yesterday we had another long day today. We had to leave the house half an hour earlier than yesterday, at 9:30 am, as the Christmas party was starting at 10 am. We took the subway downtown, then walked to the music school and got there right on time. We already knew from the past two years what to expect.

Day 1937. This morning we left the house together at 10 am. We took the subway downtown, then walked to their music school, where their weekly class was to start at 10:30 am. Randy and Sammy stayed outside, while I went into the classroom with them. After Emmy had not behaved too well these past two weeks, he finally did today and got the gift he could already have received two weeks ago.

Day 1936. Yesterday I had students from 10 am to noon, cooked lunch, then had Sammy by myself, while Randy left to pick up the other two kids. They got home at 3 pm, later than usual, just as I was starting to teach. I taught from 3 to 6 pm. At 4:20 pm Randy left with Sammy to take him to his wheelchair class. His girl-friends were coming, so he was really happy and enjoyed it.
