Day 1037. Last night I could not sleep. I had stuff on my mind that kept me up. I sat on the balcony for a while, and as we're in a heat wave, it wasn't even cool out there. I finally went back to bed and found Emmy there, who I took back to his own bed.

Day 1036. It was tough, when the alarm went off at 7 am. It also woke up the kids. After breakfast, we dressed them and left the house at 8 am. We took the train. It was really full, but I still got them out and had all three.

Day 1035. Another morning of them doing stuff they weren't supposed to, and that after a terrible night with little sleep. I don't know what was going on with Sammy who rarely cries during the night, but he did last night.
