HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 2536. I went to bed late, as usual, and Sammy was up early, as usual. It was quite loud for quite some time but at least Emmy didn't come to me all the time, waking me up. They eventually all left to go swimming. My alarm went off at 10 am, and I got up to have breakfast and get ready for my 11 am student. I taught until noon, then I had a 90 minute online meeting. After that, I was so very hot that I had to go straight into the pool. The boys joined me in the water after a while. Back at the trailer, it was time for me to eat something. The kids had already all eaten something for lunch.
After lunch, the kids went over to our friends' house, except for Sammy. Randy took a little nap, while I spent time with Sammy. Randy had told me that we were waiting for our friends to tell us when we could do a boat ride but that was a misunderstanding. I texted my friend at some point, asking about the when, when I found out that she had been waiting for us. So it was time to do it right away.
Just after 4 pm we got on the boat. The kids all had to put life-vests on. We then did a 45-minute tour of the lake/swamp. Tammy was not having fun and soon wanted to turn around. Emmy fell asleep next to our friend but was woken up after a while. Randy then put Sammy next to me, and Sammy also fell asleep. Everyone was looking to find alligators but we didn't see any. We did see an osprey nest.
Back on solid ground, it was time to cool off again so I went into the pool again with the boys. Tammy wanted to do some crafts but soon joined us as well. She was in tears, telling me that she felt like she had been the reason for our friends to fight when she wanted to make slime like she had learned at the conference. I spent a lot of time comforting her.
Back at the trailer we dried off and got dressed, and Emmy left immediately to go over to our friends' house again. We then all went. Tammy did not want to go inside because she was afraid but I talked with my friend who then also told her that she had done nothing wrong and that everything was fine.
We then spent a nice evening together, eating and talking. Especially the boys love the dogs. Sammy was chasing the big one, while Emmy enjoyed the little one, picking him up and holding him. When 8 pm and bed-time was approaching, our friend and us, we all left to go visit the neighbor briefly. We had a good few minutes talking with her, then it was really time to go to the trailer and to bed. It was close to 9 pm before they were actually in bed.
I then turned my computer on to work on the pictures and write my report. Now it's after midnight, and I hope to make it to bed a little earlier tonight.
