HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 2549. Last night it was 2 am before I went to bed. This morning Sammy was up at 7 am, Emmy waking up thanks to him, and the boys went upstairs to play with the kids of the house. Tammy later joined them, as did Randy who made their breakfast for them. As for me, I got up at 10:30 am and skipped breakfast. At 11:15 am we left the house.
We drove just over half an hour and got to Chuckee Cheeze just before noon. The kids - especially Emmy - had been looking forward to going there. In fact, Emmy was looking at the dash and kept reading how many more minutes we needed to get there. When we walked in, our friends were already there and trying to figure out what the best deal was, so I joined them. It took us some time but we did figure it out. Then we sat down, and only minutes later the food was ready. We got two great pizzas to share. One of our two friends also had gifts for the kids that she got out; it was five Disney bath figures to squirt each other with. They're gonna enjoy them. Sammy was very excited to get a Mickey Mouse.
We all had some food but the kids were eager to start playing so they didn't eat that much and soon ran off. They had a two-hour card to share, meaning they could do everything for two hours. Randy had the card and had to always use it to make the machines start. He was with Sammy the whole time, helping him make the max out of what was available, and Sammy had lots of fun with all the rides. In fact, he looked exhausted after the two hours were up.
During the time we were there, Chuckee came out twice to say hello to the kids. Sammy was really excited. The second time, Tammy and Emmy were standing behind a corner to startle Chuckee when he'd come out the door. They always announced when Chuckee was coming, and they knew what door he was coming out of. They jumped out from behind the corner, but Chuckee was not startled.
Emmy was showing off some of his breakdance dance moves, and Tammy was doing some carthweels. After the 2-hour-card was used up, Tammy and Emmy still had the "green" are to go into; it was something like an obstacle/climbing course with a slide at the end. They didn't spend too much time in there.
While the kids were all having the best time, I enjoyed catching up with my two friends, doing lots of talking with them and having fun and a very blessed time. Once the kids were done playing, we wanted to pray for one of my friends before leaving so we did, and her pain decreased considerably. Praise God!
Then it was time to say good-bye. We all hugged each other and walked outside together to say good-bye for good. It was just after 3:30 pm by the time we drove off. We made a stop at the bank and one at a church but the pastor had already left. By 4:40 pm we were back at our friends' house where we're staying.
We had one hour before leaving again. I was so very tired that all I could do was to lie down and close my eyes for 45 minutes. At 5:40 pm we left again but we only had a 3-minute drive around the corner.
We parked at the Mexican restaurant and went inside. We got a table, and I was looking at the menu to pick our food before our friend would arrive. A few minutes later he did. I've known him for 25 years, so it was great to see him again. We had a great 2 hours of catching up and talking with each other. The kids had their tablets with them to keep them occupied. When we were done, we went outside to do a little video. Our friend started a video and had me share a testimony from Mali that he's going to post on social media. What a blessing!
Then we had to say good-bye and until next time. By 7:45 pm we were back at the house.
The kids were eager to play with the kids of the house so I gave them an hour to do so, while I got on my computer to get some work done. At 8:45 they came downstairs and got ready for bed. We still read a story, I prayed for them, and they went to bed. It was 9:30 pm.
I then continued working on the computer. Now it's midnight, and I haven't finished working on today's pictures but I have an early-morning meeting tomorrow so I'd better go to bed.
