Day 1964. Thank God the past night was better than the night before. But my first alarm already went off at 6:30 am. Randy got up and made breakfast, and I was able to get Tammy and Emmy up to go eat. At 7:30 my second alarm went off, but I was already on my feet before then. At 7:45 we all left the house together, over half an hour earlier than usual.

Day 1963. Yesterday morning I was glad that the previous night had been better, Emmy not coughing and twisting and turning all the time. Once they had left for kindergarten, I went back to bed and had some restful sleep. I knew it was my last chance to sleep in the morning before we leave on our trip.

Day 1961. We were going to go to church on Sunday night, but it did not turn out that way. We've all this same virus, but not everyone is affected to the same degree. Emmy has had it worst, and he's been sick for two weeks, and he's still coughing bad. He's also the only one who's had elevated body temperature repeatedly.
