Day 2543. These past three days have been filled with the kids playing with their nieces and brief visits to their Grandma. They've had lots of fun. As for me, I've had students every day, talked to Paul in Mali and wrote a new newsletter in three languages, so I've kept pretty busy, taking advantage of having more time to work on the computer.

Day 2540. I went to bed late, and then there were some disruptions during the night. The kids were up way too early. At 7:40 am my alarm went off. It was hard getting up, getting ready to leave and have breakfast. Just after 8:30 am we started our 2 hour and 10 minute drive to Jackson, Mississippi.

Day 2539. It was nice not to have an alarm or any responsabilities this morning but the kids were up way early again and were loud, keeping me from sleeping until they finally went downstairs to have breakfast. I got up just after 10 am, went downstairs to get some food and my tea and went back upstairs to prepare for my 11 am lesson.
