Day 2559. Yesterday was our last day in the US - day 51. The kids were up early to play with the kids of the house one last time before they had to go to school. Eventually I also got up - after a short night - and started packing right away. Once I was done, I went to the kitchen to have breakfast, eating our leftovers.

Day 2557. It sure was a short night last night but Sammy was up at 7 am anyway. Emmy got up a little later, and Tammy even later. I got up some time after 8 am, a while before my alarm went off. I had breakfast, then went upstairs with my computer to get ready for my 9:30 am student.

Day 2556. Today was their 7th birthday! Wow! As we're back in Los Angeles where our 8-week journey started, Disneyland was the perfect place to take them on their special day. When they woke up this morning, they found their birthday T-shirts and put them on. I was pretty tired, but at 8:50 am we were able to drive off.
