Day 2399. My alarm was set for 8:45 am but all the kids were up before that. At 9:30 am we left the house and drove the five minutes to church where we went straight to our table to talk to people. Just before the conference started at 10 am, Randy took the kids to their program, then returned to the sanctuary where we had 20 minutes of worship and then a short offering exhortation.

Day 2398. This morning the kids were more considerate than yesterday. At 9:15 am my alarm went off, and at 9:30 we walked out the door, got into the car and drove the 5 minutes to church. We parked at a nearby parking lot and walked to church where they had a brunch for missionaries in the tent they had set up.

Day 2397. It was after 2 am before I went to bed last night. This morning, Sammy was up before 6 am and Emmy just after him. Then the alarm went off at 6:15 am as usual; I had forgotten to turn it off. I couldn't believe they had gotten up even before that time. Tammy was still asleep but the boys soon woke her up.
