HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Day 2482. Wow! All week has passed, and I have not written any report. Time just flies. It's been another busy week of school, classes for the kids, and teaching for me.
On Monday, Tammy and Emmy had their programming class; they did some Minecraft programming. Randy took them there as I had to teach.
On Tuesday Tammy had dance sport and then ballet for an hour each. The boys were home with me. She tried out her new dance shoes for the very first time - her first shoes with a little bit of a heel - and had no problem dancing in them.
On Wednesday, Sammy had horse-riding therapy, while Tammy and Emmy had their tennis class at the same time as I had my tennis class. We all had fun.
On Thursday, Tammy and Emmy had their last exercise class (session 5 of 5 of parcours). The parents were called inside for the last 20 minutes to watch. When Tammy came to get me, I had my eyes closed as I was so tired that I couldn't do anything. I watched them play, then the teacher said we'd be doing a tug-of-war, parents against kids. The kids won both times. Then the class was over, and they received their stickers and something to hang around their neck for completing the class.
On Friday, Emmy had his break dance class. He's dancing pretty well already.
What else has been going on this week? On Monday Grandma came to visit and had a good time with everyone. Hopefully it was not her last visit before we leave for the US.
Emmy has been practicing for his big piano concert at the end of the month where only the best players of Vienna play. This week he got a suit for this event, and everyone's been commenting on how great he looks in it. He really likes it and is excited about it. It's two more weeks until then, and he can play 3 out of the 4 pieces well. The fourth one still needs a good bit of practice. Sometimes it's quite a fight to get him to practice, or rather most of the time, but other times it goes really well. It's always a challenge for me to find the 30 minutes needed for us to practice; Tammy only needs about 5 minutes to practice her regular pieces from class.
Other than that, I had to get up 4 out of 5 mornings, mostly to teach, and taught every night until 9 pm. On Tuesday there was a meeting for all the parents in Tammy's and Emmy's school where they let everyone know about the coming changes next year.
Friday was my craziest day with teaching from 10 to 12:30, 4 to 7:30 pm, and then 8 to 9 pm.
Three more weeks, and the kids' first year at school is over.
